Stance is an AI photo-coaching app for iPhone. By downloading or using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
You must be 18+. You keep ownership of your photos; you grant us a narrow licence to process them only to deliver your audit. The feedback is an automated opinion — guidance, not a guarantee of any outcome. Subscriptions auto-renew through your Apple ID until you cancel, and Apple handles every payment. The rest is detail.
These terms are a binding agreement between you and PT Bahana Penjuru Darussalam ("we", "us"), a limited liability company incorporated in the Republic of Indonesia and the developer and publisher of Stance. You can reach us at [email protected]. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use Stance; if you stop agreeing at any point, the remedy is to delete the app from your devices.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Stance. The app is built for adults using dating apps, and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Stance analyses photos you provide and gives you written critiques, scores, and live on-device camera coaching to help you take better dating-app photos. The feedback is an automated opinion generated by AI models — it is guidance, not a guarantee. We make no promise about matches, dates, or any other outcome, and the audit and coaching may be wrong, incomplete, or not to your taste.
You keep ownership of the photos you provide. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process those photos solely to deliver the service to you — for example, to generate an audit, which involves transmitting the selected images to our processing service and a third-party AI vision provider as described in the Privacy Policy. This licence exists only to run the feature you asked for; we do not use your photos to train models, and we do not keep them after your result is returned.
You are responsible for the photos you provide, and you confirm that:
Don't misuse Stance. In particular, do not upload illegal content; do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the service (except to the limited extent applicable law allows); and do not use it to harass or impersonate anyone. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms.
Stance, its name, design, and software are owned by PT Bahana Penjuru Darussalam. These terms don't grant you any right to our trademarks or code beyond using the app as intended.
Stance is distributed through Apple's App Store, and your licence to use it is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple's standard EULA"). These terms supplement Apple's standard EULA; where they conflict, these terms govern the Stance-specific provisions and Apple's EULA governs the rest. The key Apple-related points:
Stance is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement — and we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PT Bahana Penjuru Darussalam will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the app's feedback. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Stance or these terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) twenty United States dollars (US$20). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions or limitations; to the extent those laws apply to you, parts of the above may not, and you may have additional rights.
These terms apply from the moment you install Stance until terminated. You can terminate them at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any active subscription through Apple. We can terminate them if you materially breach them. On termination your licence to use Stance ends; the sections that should reasonably survive — content ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and the governing-law clause — survive.
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app before they take effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms; if you do not, the remedy is to delete the app and cancel any active subscription.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence still apply to the extent they are mandatory under local law. Any dispute will first be addressed by good-faith discussion at [email protected]; failing that, it will be resolved in the competent courts of Indonesia, except where applicable mandatory law requires otherwise. Apple-specific disputes relating to your acquisition of Stance through the App Store are governed by your agreement with Apple.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect and the unenforceable provision will be reformed only to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Apple's standard EULA, are the entire agreement between you and us about Stance and supersede any prior understanding on the same subject.
